Angels Gather Here!

There is a great story behind these Angels.  I had a bunch
of my inventory stolen just after I designed these and rather
than get myself all crazy and upset, I  decided to just turn
it over to my Heavenly Father.  I couldn’t believe it,
I even slept that night.  It was sometimes diff-
icult whenever I would pull out a price tag intended
for some of the merchandise that was
stolen but other than that, I just kept telling myself that
I could make more.  Anyway a long story short,
about three weeks later I was at a city-wide garage
sale and looked over and there in all of their glory were
my angels and the rest (or at least most) of my inven-
tory.  By the time I was done with the man, he was
helping me load all of my stuff.  There
is a lot more to the story, but the important thing was
it was such a blessing to get mystuff back. So there you have it .
  Blessed by angels!

A few more samples from the post below

I was having way too much fun! No one can make just one! I would love to have
input from all of you out there as to what combination you like best or even suggest
one that you would like better.  Leave your input or suggestions at the bottom of the
page.  I am going to have to learn how to do the “Give Away” thingy. Like I said I am
new to all of this. Thanks for looking!

Customer’s know best…

I love getting ideas from customers!  Vickie, you're awesome!
She suggested doing a few pumpkins in white, so here they are.
What do you think?  I love them!  I saw some online from
Pottery Barn but didn’t think to put them on rustic wood.
Below are just a few samples of the different designs. For more
information scroll to the bottom of the page and leave your
contact information and I will get back to you as soon as
possible.

Giant Candy Corn

Wish you could see these in the sun cause I love glitter and

these are all glittered up but you can’t see them.  I sold a couple

of sets of these at the market as well and I can’t believe how much

fun I have been having.  I know it is a little early yet for fall stuff but

in a few weeks I will be making Christmas items for all of the holiday

bazaars.  I will keep you posted on new product and hopefully get

an online business going.  Like I said …. STILL LEARNING!

A day at the Farmer’s Market

All of the hustle and bustle of setting up at the market with

all of the wonderful vendor friends and customers is like “O’l

Home week” every Saturday.  I work my Hiney  (is that even a real

word?) anyway, I work really hard and sometimes late into the night

and then up at the break of dawn.  But once all is said and done,

customers start rolling in and you get the smiles and chit chat from

returning customers, who are now friends, it’s all worth it.  I love

the atmosphere!

Here a Chick, there a Chick…

I created this chicken family after seeing a garden picture with a

rustic rooster and hen.  The picture was very tiny and I just

felt like it needed some baby chicks to go with it.  I love the little

black chick.  They are also made from old fence boards.  I have sold

several sets of them and they always make me smile.  I love to hear

the comments from the little kids that walk by my booth at the market.

I love creating and feel so blessed to have been given talents to

create.  Hope you enjoy looking.  I am new to blogging so  haven’t

learned all of the in’s and outs. Please be patient. LOL

Rustic Fall Pumpkins

I enjoy looking for ideas in magazines and then changing
them up a bit.  Lately, I have been having a hard time
finding new designs so I mostly just make things up
myself.  These were inspired by some that I saw in a maga-
zine.  I am making a special order for a customer and friend
with white pumpkins.  I am excited to see how they turn out
and will be posting them soon.  Please feel free to leave a comment
or suggestion. I love getting input from customers, it’s kind of like
test marketing.  Happy Harvest!

Charlie Brown’s “The Great Pumpkin”

I had so much fun creating this slightly primitive
Great Pumpkin.  It is made from old cedar fence
boards and the sign is inter changeable. One side
says, “The Great Pumpkin” and the other side
says, “Happy Harvest”.  That way you can use it all
the way through Thanksgiving.  It stands about 5ft. tall
and I sold all three at the farmers market on Saturday.

A special order for a customer.

I think this turned out pretty cute. A new customer drove by my

shop (outside for now) and after passing a couple of times, went home drew

up  a similar picture to what I make only changed it around a bit.

I think she did a great job.  I took her picture and created something

special for her mother’s birthday.  Thankfully when she picked it up she

loved it.  I get a little nervous every time I do a special order cause it is so

important to get it right for them. It really does bring me joy when I see

their response.

A Scary Halloween Trio

Just finished this picket trio for Halloween, barely

got it displayed at the Farmers Market and WOOSH!

It was gone. Almost hated to see it go! So much fun to

make and I have  to say saw one similar on the internet,

the picture was so small I had to guess.  However here

is the end result.  I think I will make some singles to sell

as well. What do ya think?
